Instructions & Important Information

• The system will automatically log you out when idle for 2 hours. Move the mouse on occasion during long meetings to reset the idle timer. 
• Once logged in to your work account open your Calendar (or other App) from the My Apps page start start or join your meeting.
• Software downloads are not allowed on this system, therefore you MUST use the web version of the video conferencing platform in use.
  • Popular platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.) will provide the option to join a meeting via the web browser. Some platforms display their web option more prominently than others. 
• Click Allow, if/when prompted to allow access to your microphone and/or camera. 
• To share a file or presentation you'll need to open it via web application OR you can join the meeting from two places. 
  • Example: use the conference room system for voice and video AND connect your BT issued laptop to present - share out your PowerPoint presentation, Word file, etc.
  • You need to disable/block the mic and speakers on your laptop/additional device(s) or you will experience a lot of feedback.
• To logout, click End Session in the upper right at any time. If you forget to logout, the system will log you out automatically when idle for 2 hours.
